Fröhliche Weihnachten! Wesołych Świąt! Feliz Navidad! Joyeuses Fêtes! Boas Festas! Chúc mừng giảng sinh! Happy Holidays everyone!
A slightly darker variation of the traditional holiday combination of red and green, I paired burgundy with olive today.
When we start our blog shoot, Mystery Man takes a moment to adjust the camera settings and do a few test shots. While I wait for him, I entertain myself by walking an invisible plank.
MM and I spent Christmas Eve enjoying the holiday festivities on Rodeo Drive, and for dinner, he surprised me with Jollibee! Jollibee is my kryptonite. I happily surrender to it and savor every bite. If you’re unfamiliar with Jollibee, please allow me the privilege of introducing you to it. Some (actually most people) consider it a Filipino fast food place. I consider it a piece of heaven. I rarely eat it (probably once or twice a year because it’s not the healthiest choice), but every time I do I get into a dreamlike state where my motor skills are limited to my hand moving the fork up to my mouth. I’m not kidding. I really love it. Not only do I love the favors, but it is also very nostalgic for me. My foster mother made pigs in a blanket for breakfast and fried chicken for dinner often, so the favors of Jollibee remind me of the happy times that I had with my foster sisters.
Wishing you endless joy and happiness on this holiday season. Wherever home is for you, I hope you’re surrounded by love and peace. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much for reading!
