Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
This darling skirt traveled all the way from Germany and arrived in a care package (along with other goodies and gummy bears!) from an incredibly kind reader. Corinna (also known as pimpIT) is a talented dress and pattern maker who loves to share styling and sewing tips with everyone. She picked out this particular design from a Dutch fabric market in Hamburg and made it into a beautiful skirt. Her attention to detail is exceptional… the print has an iridescent-like quality when photographed, and in real life, has a vintage aura that exudes modern day romance. I can’t wait to re-style it with a printed top and play with different color and texture combinations. Also, I’m wearing my ASOS skirt under this skirt to give it more height. With all A-line or flare skirts, I simply wear my multi-purpose ASOS skirt underneath if I want to add more volume or lift.
I’m always in shock and awe at how a virtual relationship can turn into a friendship. Corinna and I have emailed each other with messages talking about life, family, and fashion. I’m just at a loss for words and can not express how grateful I am to have Corinna in my life.
Thank you so much for reading!
